The Louisiana Department of Revenue – Office of Alcohol and Tobacco Control is proud to welcome NCSLA members and guests to the 2026 Annual Conference at the historic Hotel Monteleone in New Orleans! The Most Celebrated Hotel in the French Quarter

Known as the grand dame of Royal Street, Hotel Monteleone is one of the last great family owned and operated hotels in New Orleans. Since 1886, five generations of Monteleones have dedicated themselves to making their hotel what it was, and still is — a sparkling jewel in the heart of the French Quarter.

With over a century of history, Hotel Monteleone has earned numerous awards and prestige through dedicated service and a commitment to comfort. Our historic hotel is an official literary landmark designated by the Friends of the Library Association and is a member of the Historic Hotels of America, the Preferred Hotel Group, and Associated Luxury Hotels International.

Airline Travel
The Armstrong International Airport is located ~15 miles / 35 mins from Hotel Monteleone and is serviced by major airlines.

From Armstrong International (MSY) to the hotel:
The Hotel Monteleone does not have a complimentary dedicated airport shuttle. However, Rideshare apps and taxis offer transportation services to our New Orleans hotel. Taxi fare from Armstrong International Airport is $36.00 for 1-2 people traveling together or $15 per person for groups of 3 or more. Rideshare apps, Lyft and Uber, are available with fares starting at $45.

The 2026 Annual Conference theme, “New Opportunities in Liquor Administration: The Rhythm of Regulation," highlights the dynamic tempo of an industry in constant motion.

From Alcohol 101 and Common Challenges & Potential Solutions, to discussions on an Industry Slowdown, the Evolving Landscape, and the complexities of Direct-to-Consumer shipping, each session offers valuable insights for navigating emerging issues. Attendees will also explore cutting-edge topics such as Artificial Intelligence, Hemp, Public Safety, and participate in a hands-on Regulatory Licensing Workshop.
